I’ve always been comfortable with technology and design. Upon being juried into becoming a member of the Ojai Studio Artists as a fine art photographer, I was often asked by fellow artists to photograph artwork, take artist portraits, videos and design websites. I love working with artists. I’ve always loved art and to get to know the person behind the art is an honor, it brings so much more appreciation for the art itself. It’s a joy to be of service in Illuminating Artists.
As an artist, my interest is to convey beauty and evoke contemplation through Minimalist Fine Art photography. My aim is to communicate the subtle aliveness in nature and remind the viewer of their own serenity. To me, Art celebrates life, both the beauty and seeming darkness that can only be seen when one shines light upon it. My fine art photography is about nature, and the nature of life. I’m fascinated by the cycles and the mystery that surrounds existence. My art explores those concepts and finds beauty in every aspect.
